Zhongyang He is an assistant teaching professor in Energy, Business, and Finance at Penn State University. His research interests include applied economics and data science with their applications in a variety of topics, such as energy transition and public health, energy and economics in agriculture systems, innovation policy, and computational social science. He has extensive experience extracting insights from various datasets such as the MSHA Mine Data, American Community Survey, NCHS Vital Statistics Data, U.S. Patents, Web of Science, Microsoft Academic Graph, Agriculture Resource and Management Survey (ARMS), etc.
