Research Internship guidelines.
Almost all summer research projects are designed to be in-person experiences. The expectation is that you will live and work in State College, PA, on the University Park campus of Penn State for the duration of the summer program.
This year we are offering an on-campus room and board package (single room in a campus dormitory with a meal plan) as part of the program, but if you already have local living arrangements, you can decline the room and board in favor of a larger stipend payment.
Please provide the names and contact information for two faculty members who we can contact as a reference for you. If you are a current Penn State student, please use Penn State faculty members. Ideally these individuals should be familiar with your classroom performance and your interest in research opportunities.
