What student organizations and activities are you involved in?
I am involved in the Society for Mining, Metallurgy, and Exploration Student Chapter, International Society of Explosive Engineers Student Chapter, and EMS Ambassadors.
What is the one Penn State activity that everyone should participate in, and why?
Penn State THON is something everyone should participate in because it is an amazing year-long cause that is extremely meaningful to everyone involved.
What’s the best part about being an EME student?
The best part of being an EME student is being able to have a close relationship with the faculty, students, and alumni involved in the department.
What is one piece of advice you would give to prospective students?
Get involved in multiple organizations and clubs and try to meet as many people as possible.
What opportunities has Penn State provided for you so far?
Penn State has given me the opportunity to network with companies and professionals, attend conferences, get involved in organizations, and create long-lasting relationships with fellow students.
