If you still are unsure about what major to choose or what career to pursue, come explore options in energy with a three-day classroom and field-tour program in Pittsburgh, PA.
Up to fifty students in the Division of Undergraduate Studies at Penn State will be given this unique opportunity to sign up for a first-hand look at rewarding careers in the energy industry. This will be a three-day classroom and field-tour program that will include a visit to a solar installation at the Pittsburgh Airport, the Shell Polymers petrochemical complex, a first-hand look at unconventional shale natural gas development, and a visit to a nuclear electric power generation facility. You will hear from high-level leaders on the scale of energy used in our country and the need for educated professionals to support electric and natural gas utility operations and from leaders working on next-generation hydrogen development.
